Re-Usable the Musical.
Join Kazumi, an everyday zoo going girl, on her journey around the world as she learns to protect the planet. Kazumi, like most people, begins her story unaware of the ever-growing environmental problem with disposable plastics. After tossing a leftover bag from lunch into the air it collides with Ronnie the Pelican, who then leads her on a wild ride across the globe to teach her about the 5 R's - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, &...well you'll just have to come see it!
The Education/Outreach team at the Wildlife Conservation Society approached Gables Grove Productions after seeing how prominent the plastic problem had become right at home in the Bronx. The astonishing amount of facts included in the 30 minute show showcase just how large an effect humans have on the environment world-wide in ways we never even imagined, but also, shows very simple and practical solutions that everyday people can do.

I'm featured as Howard the Red River Hog and Pinchy the crab, as well as assisting in lots of other puppetry elements throughout the show. I am not only excited to perform with such a fantastic company of puppeteers, but I'm proud to be passing along such an important message. I have certainly learned new things and changed some habits when it comes to recycling after participating in this piece, and none of it is inconvenient or difficult to handle. I encourage everyone I know to see this beautiful little show.
Re-Usable the Musical performs on the Wild Asia Stage at the Bronx Zoo from Memorial Day - Labor Day. Four performances a day- weekends in June, Wed-Sun in July & August. Contact me for dates I am scheduled to perform.
