I am so thrilled to have just been a part of the wonderful production of Sweet Charity out in Arizona. It was such a whirlwind that I'm only now getting around to posting about it!
Sweet Charity, Fosse's bittersweet tale of the ever hopeful girl in search of love in 1960's New York, lit up the stage out in Peoria, Arizona from April 17-May 10. Under the direction of Seth Reines and the incredible choreography of Kurtis Overby, critics and audiences alike were raving about this gem.
I was lucky to perform some of Fosse's most iconic works ( "Rich Man's Frug" and "I'm a Brass Band") and, let's face it, also some of his stranger ones (Rhythm of Life). I also played one of New York City's finest boys in blue, stopping mobs and rubberneckers all while eating my daily donut (seriously...I got a donut every day in act II. It was Great!!)
