About Kirk
Artist. Storyteller. Entertainer
Kirk is an American puppeteer, playwright, songwriter, director, and long time specialist in children's entertainment.
He is a proud member of Actor's Equity.
Kirk is the creator and star of the original web-series Oscar and Herman Play Inside! currently streaming on Youtube and OscarandHerman.com. Kirk is also the Co-Creator of Witch Wartsmith's Halloween Spooktacular, the "not-so -spooky variety hour" playing annually at the Puppet Co. Playhouse in Glen Echo, MD. As a composer/lyricist, his original songs can be heard in various Puppet Co productions, as well as for the Up in Arms puppet company. Kirk’s custom creations have been seen at the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, and NY Aquarium, where he previously served as a guest director/choreographer and puppet builder for the Wildlife Theatre program.
Actor, puppeteer, musician, dancer, and circus artist— Kirk has traveled the world bringing joy to the hearts of children and their families. Notable performance credits include: ‘Mr. Popper’ on the first national tour of Mr. Popper’s Penguins, 'Mr. Conductor' on the first national tour of Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live!, 'Bottle Dancer' on the Broadway national tour of Fiddler on the Roof, and official voice & performer for the one and only Scooby Doo in Warner Bros. Scooby Doo Live!.
