Weaving together the myths, poetry, and folklore of Celtic Wales, Tales Before Time is your gateway into an ancient oral tradition. This new musical roars indigenous wisdom into the modern era with a full “dragon’s breadth" of puppetry, song, and Welsh artistic expression.

Of the six surviving Celtic nations Wales is often overlooked, but the Cyfarwydd (Storytellers) preserved a lush history that was already old by the time it was scribed: Tales of the legendary Arthur when his fame was just being forged, of the Fair Family who would lure you into a realm not bound by time, of a wizard with frightening speech who summoned trees into battle, and a Witch whose stolen potion created the greatest Bard ever known. In this theatrical adaptation of an ancient oral tradition, feel how the power of myth can make us as immortal as Taliesin..
